Surfaced Rainbow Poplar Board, Subtle Color, 15/16" x 5" x 37¼" (PO-003)

This is the exact board you'll receive. One piece of poplar, surfaced on both faces and straight-lined on both edges, so it's ready to go straight to your project. This board sits on the quiet end of the rainbow. The front is creamy tan with soft gray mineral streaks and one bold, dark streak near one end that adds some contrast. The back has a warmer golden-tan tone with flowing grain and a single small pin knot.

Poplar is easy to work. It cuts, planes, and sands smoothly, and it's light enough to handle without a fight. Its subtle coloring makes this board a great fit for boxes, drawer sides, trays, and other projects where you want a light, clean look with a little character.

A note on color: like all poplar, this board will warm and darken over time with light exposure. A finish with UV protection slows that down.
