How pricing works in the shop

In-shop lumber is rough cut and priced by the board foot. Our online boards are surfaced, measured and photographed individually, so you know exactly what's arriving at your bench — that's why online listings are priced per board. Come by, and we'll help you find the right piece and cut it to what you need.

Milling services

Want your rough lumber milled before you take it home? We'll do it while you wait or have it ready for pickup.

A few shop rules:

• Board feet are tallied on the rough board before milling.
• Resawn boards may cup or bow as internal tension releases — that's the nature of wood, not the saw.
• Reclaimed or salvaged lumber must be free of nails and metal. Blade damage is charged at cost.
